Ossodef Cardiff!

Hey guys!

Apologies for the delay in this post, exam season, need I say more? Anyway!

So last Friday, the 15th, I was lucky enough to go to the first Ossodef in
Cardiff! I mentioned in a previous post that I would be attending and a lot of
you seemed interested in hearing more about it! (Read the post here)

The event kicked off with a meet and greet, for fans that had bought the
meet & greet tickets! I got lost on the way, (naturally!) but I did
manage to catch the end of the meet and greet!
I was rather surprised at
the amount of fans surrounding the artists, especially the lads!

The venue, The Gate Arts Centre in Cardiff which is an old converted church,
was a beautiful venue that I have wanted to pay a visit to for a while! The event was filled with up and coming artists, (many that I have written
about on here before!) in the community of young artists that I work in! Also, more than half of the acts are taking part in Bubble Football with me on June 28th! So if you want to come and meet them, and myself, make sure you get your tickets (bubblefootball.eventbrite.co.uk
! I was rather impressed by more than a few artists, some of which I had seen perform
before, others that I had met but never seen live.

There was quite the variety of artists, energetic R&B/Rap
Duo “Benj&Benji” who I was very impressed with as they jumped and ran around
the stage interacting with fans! More acoustic guitar led performances from
Evan Gardner, who I manged to catch up with after the show! A dance group in the form of Welsh Factor‘s own G Dolls, that I’d heard a lot about! And some beautiful
pop performances from artists such as Joey Devries, Victoria Louise (who did a
stunning duet together! I’ll leave a video link below) and Just James to name just a few! And up and coming
bands such as Friday at 4 (minus their
Boyz Klub and Adrenaline Trip!

Myself and +1, Dean (those of you who entered my All Time Low giveaway & watched the vlog will know him!) were
truly amazed by James’ performance of the rather difficult song “Titanium” by

It was also lovely to see ex band mates Joey Devires, Ollie Garland and Ryan
perform a cover of the classic Busted song “Year 3000”. Another artist, who it was lovely to catch up with, was Morgan Rawbone who I’ve spoken about many times on here! She debuted her new single “It’s What You Do To Me” which sounded amazing! Look out for a music video for that track soon also!

Below is a video of Joey and Victoria’s beautiful duet of the Charlene Soraia song “Wherever You Will Go” which was one of my favourite performances of the night. Credit for the video goes to Alexia Dudley.

The next Ossodef is in Leeds this Saturday, May 23rd with a very similar line up! For more details on this show check out their Twitter page (@Ossodef). I highly recommend going, you will thoroughly enjoy! They’ve also just announced new show in London so make sure you keep a check on Ossodef‘s social medias to keep up to date with that!

Thanks for reading guys,
