Just a post to say HEY, lets have a catch up!

It’s absolutely mad to say it’s 2015 now! Like every other human on this planet, I’m gonna say it…. Where on earth did 2014 go!?! It was such a good year for me, and I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such supportive family and friends! I hope you all enjoyed Christmas, (or any other holiday you celebrate!) and a good New Years! I thoroughly enjoyed the few relaxing weeks off with my family!

Although it’s back to work again now for me! I have my first exams of my degree coming up this month, so I’m currently busy (i use the term loosely..) revising whilst planning my next few posts for you guys! The first few months of this year are set to be manic! With exams, concerts, birthday and a whole load of university work to get done!

I did mention in my last post, my top 20 of 2014 post, about the posts I have currently in the works and I really hope to get them out to you as soon as possible, but I want to make sure they’re as good as I can make them!

This post is also a bit of a catch up, as it’s been a while since I last sat down and just talked to you guys! I wanted to thank everyone who reads my blog, or has shared it with anyone! You have all made 2014 a very special year for me! I know a few of my readers have been here since 2013 when I started it as a lifestyle blog, and that is an aspect of this blog I am keen to keep up! I’d also like to make a quick thank you (and shoutout!) to all the bands and artists that I have written about this year, and who have shared my work with their fans- you’re all awesome!

As some of you will know, if you follow my twitter….*shameless self promo* (it’s @sweetlyshan ) that earlier in December I attended the launch party for Morgan, the female singer I introduced to you guys in my Ones to Watch November. (click here to read it!) It was a wonderful and enjoyable evening, to meet some amazing people, watch new local acts perform and of course to see Morgan perform her single “I Miss You” and learn more about the charity. I was introduced to some lovely new people, including Kyle Brooks from X Factor’s The Brooks. I also attended a Christmas party for a company set up by friends which focuses on providing a platform for local acts, whether it be in theatre, music or literature. There was also another opportunity for me to discover new local music acts, and was another thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I hope you guys have an amazing 2015 and remember that this year will be what you make of it! Personally I don’t set New Years Resolutions, but goals for myself to achieve throughout the year.

Hope you enjoyed that little catch up, I did! Don’t forget to follow my twitter if you want to talk to me (please, I have no friends….)

Thanks for reading guys,
